Baptists: Christian Church Or Lodge Controlled Cult?

An estimated 400,000 - 500,000 Southern Baptist men are said to be
Masons. See http://www.gpdemolay.org/freemasonry/babtist.htm. Billy
Graham, Franklin Graham, Adrian Rogers, and Charles Stanley are all
said to be Masons, for example. Even the Baptists that aren't Masons
tend to say that a Christian can be a Mason, as long as they've gotten
their "eternal security." Jerry Falwell, for example, says Masons are
welcome in his church but that they shouldn't let their lodge
activities interfere too much with their church activities.

Increasingly the Baptists are denying the doctrine of the rapture of
the bride of Christ, and go along with social drinking and divorce and
remarriage. Practically all of the Baptists seem to be conservative
Republicans, a very similar situation to the Mormon cult in Utah, one
of only three states that still has a majority giving President Bush a
favorable approval rating.

Baptists seem to be a group following the leader and that leader isn't
Jesus Christ but a Masonic Baptist. Following human leaders rather than
Jesus is a good definition of a cult. Most Baptists rarely, if ever,
fast or give alms to the poor, even though Jesus Christ taught us to do
these in the Sermon on the Mount.

Most Baptists are proud that they "use the King James version of the
Bible." But do they really use it, as in reading it and then doing what
it says? Most Baptists I know are very dense about the Bible, so it's
obvious they're rarely reading it and trying to do what it says. Jesus
taught us that believers "shall speak in other tongues," for example.
But many Baptist leaders, such as Texe Marrs, preach that those
Christians speaking in other tongues all have devils. Jerry Falwell
asks prospective students at his Liberty University if they speak in
other tongues, and if so they aren't admitted to his university.

Jesus Christ said we need to hear His words and follow them. That is
how we build our spiritual house on the rock so we won't fall. That's
what really gives us eternal security.
