administration official Richard Armitage in 2001 threatened to bomb
Pakistan back into the stone age if Pakistan didn't join the "coalition

Looking at the footage I've seen from the border area between Pakistan
and Afghanistan, bombing isn't necessary to bring them to the stone age!
