Israelis Admit Using Phosphorus & Cluster Bombs In Attack On Lebanon

Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports that Israeli military leaders have
admitted their widespread use of both cluster bombs and phosphorus
bombs in their recent massive attack and occupation of Lebanon. New
Yorker magazines Seymour Hersh had reported that cross border
skirmishes had been going on for weeks between the Israelis and
Hezbollah before Israel used one of the skirmishes as a pretext for
it's massive attack on Lebanon. Phosphorus bombs burn up their victims
and are considered an illegal weapon by much of the world. Israel also
launched 1,800 cluster bombs into Lebanon. These weapons separate into
thousands of tiny land mines and can kill victims long after a war has
ended. 12 Lebanese civilians are already known to have died since the
end of hostilities. This weapon is also widely considered an illegal
weapon. Both of these illegal weapons were supplied to Israel by the
crooked-as-the-hind-leg-of-a-dog George W. Bush administration. See
