Henry Hyde was the Republican Congressman who headed the impeachment
proceedings against President Clinton, largely for having an affair
with Monica Lewinsky. So, you guessed it, Henry had had an affair
himself with a woman that lasted for 9 years. This began when Henry
was 41 and ended when he was 50, yet he called it a "youthful
