Here's a link to Cindy Sheehan's blog where she says she was arrested
while standing in line to hear General Betray-US in Washington, D.C.
The Washington police were arresting a friend that she calls Rev. and
roughing him up. She started chanting "Arrest Bush, not Rev." and then
she was arrested too. What for? We're supposed to have the right to
freedom of assembly, speech, etc. What law did she break or her
minister friend? People, wake up. This country is rapidly being turned
into a Fascist police state. Obviously the police are being trained
differently since 9/11 and no longer being told to respect people's
rights because these incidents are happening over and over again,
whether you're hearing about a lot of them or not. For example a woman
in Phoenix, Arizona died in police custody. She had already been
handcuffed but then reportedly died from a choke hold applied by
police officers. Why did the police need to apply a choke hold on a
woman who had already been handcuffed? Remember, we are supposed to be
presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Why
didn't all these crazy things happen when President Clinton was
president? Then there's the case of the University of Florida student
who was arrested and Tasered just for asking Senator John Kerry a
question at a public speech and waving a book around. That's not
supposed to be illegal. http://cindy-sheehan.org/2007/09/14/arrest-bush-not-rev/
