A recent study by master's student Christopher Lohse has shown what
many progressives have long suspected, a direct link between mental
illness and support for President Bush. See

Amusing, have you ever called democrats or liberals (ain't necessarily
one and the same) traitors? If so, how positively Nazi of you.

You misunderstood or misrepresented the study. How very GOP of you.

The study was careful not to say that conservatives were mentally ill,
but that mentally ill people were conservatives. Something about
mentally ill patients prefering authoritarian (fascist) leadership.

Although, your interpretation that Conservatism is caused by mental
illness does fit with the empirical evidence. But I think I would need
to see further study before I accept your explaination.
