Ezra Taft Benson, famous political cartoonist Steve Benson, says Mitt
Romney is not telling the truth in saying the Mormon Church will not
control him if he becomes president. Romney is a "Temple Mormon" and
High Priest in the Mormon Church, and as such has taken secret vows to
follow the Mormon Church. The Mormons prophesy that when the
Constitution of the United States "hangs by a thread" the Mormons will
take over the United States, and at that time Jesus Christ will return
to Independence, Missouri. Many Mormons believe that Mitt Romney is
the fulfillment of this prophecy. See
