Why Pope Benedict Can't Apologize For Anti-Islamic Remarks

Some Islamic organizations have demanded an apology from Pope Benedict
for recently referring to their religion as "evil" and "inhuman." But
Pope Benedict can't really apologize, because as pope he's supposed to
be speaking "ex cathedra" or as the voice of God. He's also supposed to
be infallible. So to apologize would be to admit that he's not the real
pope but one of a group of right wing thugs who took over the Vatican
after the murder of Pope John Paul I. See

You ignorant fucking moron.

While the pope certainly can speak ex cathedra, it is quite clear to
even the most stupid, that the pope wasn't speaking in cathedra
at the time of his comment. To the best of my knowledge no pope
has spoken ex cathedra since Pope Pius XII in 1950; and the previous
instance was 1854!

This is pretty elementary stuff ... and I'm not even a Christian!

Finally, why have you posted this to news.groups - are you requesting
a news.group on the subject?

Here's a suggestion, use:
