About a month ago Nancy Grace interviewed 22 year old Melinda Duckett
about the disappearance of her two year old son. This interview
included Nancy pounding on her desk and asking the young woman where
she was on the night of the boy's disappearance, basically accusing her
of murdering her son. The next morning the young woman committed
suicide by shooting herself with a shotgun.
And that's why we should vote straight Democrat in the upcoming
election. I don't think a lot of Republicans realize it, but their
party has become more and more radical in recent years. We used to
believe that people should be presumed innocent until proven guilty in
a court of law. But no more with the Republicans.
President Bush started it when he accused Al Qaeda of doing 9/11 the
next day without ever offering proof they did it. Then a lot of men
were sent to Guantanamo Bay with the claim they were all terrorists or
suspects and so didn't need such things as lawyers and trials. Only
recently the Republican controlled Congress passed a law which gives
our government the authority to arrest anyone and ship them off to some
secret prison with no lawyer or trial.
Folks, this is how Adolf Hitler started. Hitler seemed clownish to
many, much as President Bush, but in reality the death and torture he
was causing was far from clownish. Our country has become perilously
close to being a dictatorship. We need to reject that by voting
