I'm not a McCain supporter, but I must admit the NYT article is just a
rehashed story from the 2000 election campaign. Its impact on the 2008
race is likely to be minimal.

I'm not a McCain supporter, but I must admit the NYT article is just a
rehashed story from the 2000 election campaign. Its impact on the 2008

The only impact will be to further discredit the NYT.

I'm not a McCain supporter, but I must admit the NYT article is just a
rehashed story from the 2000 election campaign. Its impact on the 2008

The timing has been criticized. The story supposedly was ready in
December (it adds a new twist) and the argument goes, did the NYT hold
the story until after McCain was assured of the nomination so he'd
win? Or were they afraid to release it until they had their sources
all confirmed?
