While the effort to repeal the military's "don't ask, don't tell"
policy through the legislative branch has not been
successful, homosexual-rights groups are now pushing their agenda by
recruiting homosexual military wannabes who
would have enlisted were it not for the policy. The new tactics that
activist groups such as Soulforce employ include
sending openly homosexual men into military recruiting stations, where
they openly announce their sexual orientation.
One such Soulforce campaigner said that he knew his openly homosexual
orientation would result in being rejected by
the Army, but he did it to "make a point,"---even though he said he
didn't want to be judged by his sexuality.
