John McCain earlier had claimed he opposed torture, one of his only
positions I had agreed with, but recently multi-millionaire elitist
John Sidney McCain III, son of an admiral and grandson of another
admiral, who probably would have become one himself if he had bothered
to study in college instead of boozing and womanizing (that's the only
reason McCain got anywhere near combat duty in Vietnam) recently voted
against a Senate bill that would have banned torture by the US
military and CIA, saying he always supported "extreme measures," ie
torture, by the CIA. Another detour by the "straight talking express."
